A project is a workspace and folder that encapsulates everything you need to make a dataset. It can contain file storages, datasets, annotations, and collaborators.

Collaborators are any additional users you add to your project, usually in order to aid in dataset developent. They can add files, and file sources, annotate and view data, and view metrics, anong other things.

See our terms of use for more information. Your data is always under your control and ownership, and we do not copy or share any of your data with any other parties. All Community accounts are provided with up to 10 GB provided Azure storage, and you can access or delete this data directly in our file browser under the file source "DataTorch Storage".

Furthermore, if you want total control over where your data is stored, you can plug in your own AWS S3 Bucket, Azure Blob, or Google Cloud storage and access your files directly in DataTorch, without needing to move them or saving them in an external location.

In order to add more collaborators, the project owner must upgrate their account to a Professional account.

Professional accounts pay per every additional collaborator beyond themselves within their private projects, purchased in sets of 5 collaborators.
